Re: Potter Out

I’d hoped that Potter would have made more of an impact on us by now. But let’s be clear, the blame for this garbage season lies with the shit squad left us by both Moyes and Lopetegui, and the idiot who appointed them. No idea what’s going to happen in the summer re manager or players, but if Potte...

Re: How can Luis Guilherme be bad?

Remember hearing an interview with the South America football expert, Tim Vickery, just as we were about to sign Guilherme. He stated categorically that the player was nowhere near ready for the Premier League. Said a minimum of two years before he’d be a regular, assuming he settled well, and adjus...

Re: Potter Out

My hope, and no doubt some others are thinking the same, is that we are going to have a very big overhaul of players this summer, in and out. I also think that recent results and performances has now hastened that and also we 'may be' less sentimental in handing out another year to the old timers. ...

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls

billy - agree re Spacey. Excellent actor. Rewatched American Beauty last weekend funnily enough. Talking about being very late in watching stuff, I might be even later than you, as I’ve just finished Season 1 of 24!   Don't know if you've seen it, but he was also very good in Swimming With Sharks. ...

Reacher is a decent watch as long as you don't take it to seriously. Will have a look at 'Mobland' and 'This city is ours' over the next week or so. Very very late on this one but am loving House of Cards. Kevin Spacey is a superb actor and he and his (screen) Mrs really do play their parts fantast...

Re: Anyone else feel like it’s gone?

Our last season at UP was the last one that I went regularly. I’ve gradually come to lose interest. I haven’t even watched a game live on tv, despite having access to every one, in 2 seasons.  The fact that we are utter dogshit hasn’t helped. But I have come to despise modern day football and the me...

I'd watch the first 4 seasons and then bin it off if I were you.
Finished Season 4 last night. I’ll carry on for now. Still enjoying it but will see where it goes from here.

Whose..  Mine. Obviously.  I hope yours are met then, hopefully a new start will galvanise him.. We certainly need it.  Totally agree with you. I can understand why some are underwhelmed with a straight forward loan, and Ferguson’s loss of form/injuries. But there’s a real player in there. I just h...
