Re: Season Ticket Renewal
"Speaking to Claret & Hugh a club insider told us: “We are not going to renew some season ticket holders who attend very few games and don’t list their seats on the ticket exchange, we are fed up with so many empty seats at games. The season tickets are so cheap some supporters pick and choose t...

Re: How much do you drink?
"Have a love hate relationship with drink...nearly every fuck up in my life (and believe there have been many!) has been booze related. Had some amazing times as well though, there's no denying that. For large parts of my 20s / 30s would often do 48-72 hour benders... definitely took its toll, as no...

"You're too polite Swindon Manuel - fuck off being the site's police watchdog, you cսnt. Enjoyed watching this one (as I have all of them, even if the production isn't the greatest). Was at the Hull game but ended up stuck against the railings in the corner of the North Bank, so didn't have the best...

Went down the front as near to the dug out as I could for the last 5 mins...gave the cսnt more than just boos. Shame there weren't more doing the same. Not sure if it's apathy but we have definitely lost our snarl...years gone by there would have been a lot more anger shown.

"Northern Sold 3:49 Tue Apr 4 Yeah, David Kelly bagged the other 2 that. We went 3-1 down after scoring first. Just looked it up and I got the season wrong - it was the 88-89 season. As you say, a decent game in what mostly a shit season... although we did do Liverpool 4-1 in the league cup. As for ...

Re: The John Lyall Years - Robert Banks
Cheers for the heads up on this Swindon. Started watching it a few weeks back and is a really well put together series. I started going in 86-87 season so looking forward to seeing this over the next few weeks. Also looking forward to seeing Leeeeeroy's diving header in the 3-3 draw with Forest in t...

Chinkey Weasel 11:54 Thu Nov 10 Agree with all that mate except the bit that they don't have the balls to get rid of Moyes. Maybe I'm just being hopeful but I reckon they'll get shot of him if we lose on Saturday. The anger and toxic atmosphere from the fans will also be a big factor and I don't thi...

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Just finished watching Cobra Kai with my kids and we all absolutely loved. Very clever how they managed to retain the feel of the original films and that's 80's hollywood cheese. Goes to show how a bit of nostalgia can make people feel.
