Re: Sullivan out!
At the time of Kretinki's investment there was a put and call option included which allowed Kretinski to buy Gold and Sullivan's remaining shares at an agreed fixed price. It was never announced how long the option would stay in place for.

Re: Sullivan out!
The post on kumb seems to have been pulled. It was on the gold and Sullivan thread on there . It was £282m for dwarfs 82 % stake . Obviously I'm no ITK . But the truth is kretinsky had a buy out clause maybe he still has . To buy dwarfs shares which blows a hole straight through Sullivans passing it down to his kids nonsense.

Goose . Kretinskys company EPH is one of the biggest gas suppliers throughout central and eastern Europe and own most of the trunkline pipeline that runs under Ukraine.

Re: Sullivan out!
He will sell if the right offer comes along, just like anyone. Trouble is that his valuation of the club is unrealistic. Remember that he has to be seen to WIN every deal, so especially one as big as this, he's going to have to think he absolutely pulled down the pants of any buyer, which means it's never going to happen because no-one is going to be stupid enough to agree to his price/terms.
Besides which this is a nice little earner for him the the meantime and a good little ego boost to be the owner of a Premier League football club.
Really the only hope is that someone buys both Kretinsky and Gold's shares and pushes him out, but I don;t know if Sullivan as the major shareholder would get to set the price of what their portions are worth or if it can go (both literally and figuaratively speaking) over his head.
I feel Kretinsky would have made a move by now if he was ever going to. Likewise the Golds would have sold if they were going to.

He ain't selling and won't be selling, not the whole time he's breathing.

That doesn't make any sense.
I think he paid £18m for the privilege of the option on Sullivan’s shares.
This was the dispute with the stadium owners, they believed they were owed a share of that £18m.

I know it’s not your info, but what would the war in Ukraine have to do with DK and him buying the club?
I thought the £18m was for the privilege of having the option on Sullivan’s shares? I think I read that the option has now expired.
DK is considerably richer now so if he wanted to buy the club he would.

Interesting that, if true, although I don't want DK as our owner (main shareholder).
Re: Sullivan out!
Moyes should have been sacked or resigned after Prague, him staying really made no sense. Our name was in the spotlight we had Europe..

1. 2011 Grant - Totally useless and out of his depth. Should have sacked him in Jan.
2. 2015 Allardyce - A good postion as of 31/12/14 but as no contract offer made for him at the end of the season we plummeted down the table. Shoud have got rid in Jan as were safe.
3. 2024 Moyes - Again good position in the league. The instance Moyes refused to sign the new contract they should have fired him in Jan. Again plummeted down the table. Sound familiar?
I disagree that the timing of those sackings for Allardyce and Moyes were even an issue?
We replaced Allardyce with Bilic who arguably gave us as good a send-off at Upton Park as we could have hoped for and sent us into the new stadium with potential for European Football. It might now have worked out in the end, but that was nothing to do with not sacking Allardyce in time.
As for Moyes, whilst I wouldn't have been against sacking him in January, not sure it made any difference. It was more the way that Sulli underminded Moyes after everything he'd done and ultimately who he then brought in to replace him. They had from January to find the right replacement, whether they'd sacked Moyes or not, and they failed to find the right man.

I know, but I was pointing that in recent times he comes over as an ITK, like he knows what is going on at the club and he is inside Sullivan's head, forever harping on about Salthouse and Mckay, It's just a bit boring and he is totally relentless. They are not thought out, articulate opinions at all, they are all of the same nature, i.e totally objective and to support his narrative. He despises Sullivan and co, we get it, no need to keep telling us all every fucking day.

Rodruiguez, Soler, Kilman ( decent but not worth £40 million of the budget in many people’s opinion) and then Sullivan vetoing extra money for Duran leading to Fullkrug ( who allegedly Lopetegui was ok with to fit his system). Also Lopetegui made most players including recruits look worse than they actually were anyway so time will tell if they were actually as bad as we thought.
Steidten has been tagged directly to Guilherme and Todibo. Jury still out but dont think they are write offs yet. Maybe they will not work out and then Steidten is guilty of screw ups. Fullkrug as I mentioned, if that was just pushed by Steidten then its a blot on his recruitment but the rumour was that Lopetegui was keen too?
But the point is, Sullivan has positioned this, via media friends, as a summer window failure exclusively down to Steidten who did not have full automony or decision making authority and over half the recruits were picks by others. A scapegoat.
And it allows Sullivan to return to his favoured model of him being fully in charge of all recruitment and abandoning a DOF model that all progressive clubs have adopted. Further still, it was a half arsed DOF called a Technical Director. He never wanted any dillution of his control as evidenced by half implementing and abandoning it after one transfer window.
But as quite a few on here said back in summer, Sullivan will fit Steidten up if things go wrong. He did and he got away with it again as most fans wont see whats happened, believe the media narrative and have already written off / forgotten Steidten and the new fangled DOF idea as a “doesnt work” experiment. You really are boring these days Alf and just spout a load of unfounded stories like you're some kind of authority. As for Steidten, yes its speculation - But you really don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that he was hung out to dry.

Re: Sullivan out!
Sullivan won't sell. as long as he can keep us 17th and above with the minimum of investment he'll be happy. He's just milking us. I believe there is a waiting for season tickets so the only real pressure to be put on him a stay way from the stadium won't have much of an effect. They have the pre-sales.
This is our destiny. One of mediocrity.
