Cheers 66, I'll be using that on the shonkers round Buffs later. They were both in my grill Saturday, might have been when I said their nil nil draw with Palace was two shit teams slugging it out

Reid would be stupid to leave us. Our form is fantatic and a club on the rise. Why leave us to go to a team which may not guarantee him first team football?

Normannomates

Seemed to me that the Swansea fans were contributing little noise, disappointing from them. Does seem to be the case that Sunday games are quieter, one reason to not want Europe League!

Great day yesterday, came back with a sore throat, "best side we've had since 06, probably better, last time I felt like this was in 86.
No reason we can't keep it up IF we can keep our key players fit, ie; Song, Sakho and the fullbacks.

Carroll has scored more in one game than Soldado has all season

Any one else think that Monk is a bit of a smug Tosser? Always has a sly dig at someone. I think its a Ginger thing!!

As Monk said because it hit the post it means it wasn't a goal scoring opportunity.

Twat. If he hadn't been fouled he wouldn't have been that far wide.

We'll ignore the hand ball. ... Which may or may not be because of the push

I have to say that my heart sank when they had a player sent off.

Being confident enough to not panic when going behind and going to win comfortably in consequetive matches?

Not seen that in decades.

Nolan wasn't all bad yesterday, but Downing, Kouyate and especially Song made most of the work.

Fantastic team effort, fantastic result.
We are fucking third!

Tex, well you got it wrong about Carroll yesterday mate! I also think that Nolan had a decent game yesterday, he certainly wasn't a passenger on this occasion. Its great how real competition for places improves certain players performances!

The only thing that irks me is that regardless the circumstances, Sam always manages to find a spot for Nolan.

The crowd were quiet most of the game. Getting an atmosphere going at home these days is hard graft.

Many more games like this...a few more goals...and no more stupid injuries...

...and I may revise my opinion of Carroll..

Haha...

As a team and squad its all looking great. Only player I'm concerned about is kouyate. First few games he seemed like the main man. Now seems a bit lost.

You're being premature, BR13.

It's still 1985, if you get what I mean.

Only disappointment is that we didn't score the seven more goals needed to give us a chance of being third Tuesday morning...

Can't have everything, I suppose

11/2 for a top 6 finish.

150/1 to be relegated.

Found the Mail write up a little bizarre when you scroll down and see the photos ... Including programme stand and burger joint! How artistic!?

Is Leon Britton actually legally allowed to play professional football? He looks about 9.

Yep 13 more points. 55 years of following this club makes me think that way too. :-)

That said, this is the best squadwe have had in a very long time. Every player aside from Adrian, Song and possibly Downing has to play well to keep the shirt.

Jenkinson looked like he pulled a hamstring so Demel has his chance now and although he lacks the pace and attacking qualities , he should be a decent replacement.

Nice thing with Carroll and Sakho up top is that the team can vary the attacking by going direct or using pace. That is hard to defend against.

Just need the owners and manager to keep building and strengthening the squad starting with the signing of Song asap (hopefully)
