I'm as pissed off as anyone abut that pen. We chance to punish them and get the last say in a good and fuck it up for ourselves. We must make them pay in the cup now.

on another topic: What would be nice would be the FA holding them and the other 5 EFL teams to some level of accountability for their footballing insurrection and deducting points some time soon. That would wipe the smiles right off their faces. But it wont happen will it because the FA wont kill the golden goose. Cannot believe there has not been so much as a sniff from them

I would accept someone breaking that ugly slimy waxwork looking nonce cunt Bumaldo's fucking leg as recompense for Sunday's rank stupidity. Or a roaring victory. If neither of these are achieved Moyes is back in hapless cunt territory in my mind. He needs to make up for that absurd decision.

It’s a fair point, he did make some important saves and is of course still a good shot stopper.

Fine margins at this level though and spilling that shot and not being commanding enough for a couple of balls seemed to cost us. Maybe it’s just a feeling but sitting there and watching him in the second half, something just didn’t seem right.

I’ve loved watching the bloke and I’m not saying he’s shit, nor that he is entirely to blame, just the first time I’ve felt it could be the beginning of the end for a player who has been pretty exemplary for 99% of his career with us.

True, Mex, but confidence in that outcome is severely lacking.

Knocking them out of the cup would help...

I know, but this still rankles. I can accept most shit, we are use to it, right, but this was fucking ridiculous, even for us. Give me another few days, min.

What's the alternative?

Yes, it's very annoying. But all you can do is just take it on the chin. Shit happens.

Horse - Yea, I'm still seriously pissed about it. Not only did we lose a point we handed them cunts 3 and allowed them to have a big party on our pitch at the end. Sickening. I still can't get that image out my head of Noble running on, chest all puffed out, just to take the pen. We are use to him running on and taking the armband off of Rice, but to run on and take the ball out of hands for a massive pen and to then fuck it up. He really should have said cheerio in the summer and gone to Wycombe or somewhere.

We had a fucking gilt edged chance to send these Mancy cnuts home with a point.

I hate these f’kers more than ever over the past decades - this f’king garden gnome as manager and that f’king arrogant cheating egomaniac that expects a penalty every time it dives has not changed one bit. And likely gets it routinely. That was the best part. A message was sent in this regard.
This ain’t Spain or Italy.

Golden rule in football - the penalty taker has to be in the game. Adrenalin factors in - its fucking unconscionable that this jock moron cannot grasp that and he’s actually played the game so he should know this first hand.

He still makes the most unfathomable decisions at the most critical times. Last years line up away at Brighton, some of his inexplicable substitutions and now this.

Rice, Lanzini, Benhrama, Soucek would have buried that.

The entire planet knew that was a dogshit decision in real time. Especially as we'd seen the idiot Southgate come a cropper doing such fucking abject stupidity in the biggest game England had since the final in 66.

Fucking pair of bellends.

Is that you calmed down, Vexed? Feck me. Silly comment about Moyes’ decision. Captain Hindesight is a wonderful thing. It wasn’t a wise move, I agree, but….well, it could have worked. Anyway - what about Rice not closing down Lingard for his goal? Anyone mentioned he should have blocked off the opportunity to shoot?

Thursday night affect you have to be kidding. The only player who might be affected is Soucek. He's looked knackered for months now. He had a poor Euro's by hos recent standard. Has been as effective. Plays to many game for the Czech Republic. Played all 3 when virtually every other player only played 2. He needs a breather. We ought Kral for a holding midfiled role, replacement for these occaisions. Rice could of easily steppedd in to his role.
Moyes has been reluctant to use his subs apart from when the game is beyond doubt which unfortuantely is never with us. The Zagreb game i thought was when he had actually come to his senses. 1 sub before 88 minutes, yesterday, Ridiculous.
having seen on MOTD Moyes go over initially talk to Nolan then Noble you could see that even Noble was surprised. Moyes should have known who was taking it without having to even think about Noble. Lanzini has taken them before and has a good scoring rate.
This is on eof the reasons moyes will never be a top top manager.
He's been great since his return but these stupid decisions are jsut so old school.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Man Utd - Official Match Thread
I've calmed down and had time to reflect soberly on the last few mins of yesterday's game but there's no getting away from it, Moyes is a fucking useless ginger Scottish fuckwit waster to bring Noble on for that penalty and our fans are a bunch of embarrassing mugs for licking the fucking dickhead Lingards fucking arsehole like a bunch of fucking lapdog subservient loser shitcunts.

Fuck off.

Ultimately we were better than last year and they had arguably a better side and we didn't have a striker and did have a cold penalty taker. They raped us in the second half last year and they didn’t this. They still have a much better team, obvs.

Come on mate, Fabianski had some spectacular saves that kept us in the game all the way to the end. What more could he have done on the first? He was hung out to dry and still saved Ronaldo's first shot from point blank range.

He will need replacing in the not too distant future but certainly not on yesterday's display. He was arguably man of the match for us.

Last year we would have got a point, the first evidence of the Thursday night effect.
Why many of us were nittering on all close season about the lack of bodies in the squad.
And I think it's been established that asking players cold off the bench to take penalties is a bad idea

Perhaps he squeezes them around the neck.
